September 30th marked the inaugural YES, I CAN! mental health conference for girls across the region aged 12-14. We had more than 120 parents and kids attend to learn how to work through the tough stuff girls face every day. Our Ronald McDonald House team was so excited and grateful to be able to prepare baked goods (above) for 100 families
so the parents could focus on their precious children receiving care at London Health Sciences Centre. DEC. 2023

Often we need more grace for others. We need a broader understanding of the challenges others have endured.
I firmly believe that we each must find a way to help others in whatever measure we can.

“4 minutes”
“4 minutes” was inspired by a conversation I had with Shannon The Rocket, on one of my morning walks.
“4 minutes” refers to the time it has been suggested that many people on the street can stay focused, due to
drug-induced states.
My purpose in sharing these stories is simply to introduce you to human beings living “less than” lives. Real people, most Londoners have never met and truthfully don’t want to meet. But we, the London community, have a devastating problem. Whether you ignore it or not, I encourage you to listen to these words before judging.
But let's begin with some tips on how to help those in need.
