September 30th marked the inaugural YES, I CAN! mental health conference for girls across the region aged 12-14. We had more than 120 parents and kids attend to learn how to work through the tough stuff girls face every day. See the gallery below for a sneak peak of an inspirational day thanks to our amazing speakers, sponsors and volunteers. SEPT. 30, 2023
Thank you to everyone who donated over 280 pairs of socks to help "519 Pursuit" assist those living on the streets to
stay warm. OCT. 2023
ANOVA graciously accepted more than 35 T-shirts, tote bags, journals and pens to bless women and their children
needing shelter, support, counselling and resources. NOV. 2023
Our Ronald McDonald House team was so excited and grateful to be able to prepare baked goods (above) for 100 families
so the parents could focus on their precious children receiving care at London Health Sciences Centre. DEC. 2023
Often we need more grace for others. We need a broader understanding of the challenges others have endured.
I firmly believe that we each must find a way to help others in whatever measure we can.
If not you, who then?

“4 minutes”
“4 minutes” was inspired by a conversation I had with Shannon The Rocket, on one of my morning walks.
“4 minutes” refers to the time it has been suggested that many people on the street can stay focused, due to
drug-induced states.
My purpose in sharing these stories is simply to introduce you to human beings living “less than” lives. Real people, most Londoners have never met and truthfully don’t want to meet. But we, the London community, have a devastating problem. Whether you ignore it or not, I encourage you to listen to these words before judging.
But let's begin with some tips on how to help those in need.
It was because of Liam I felt compelled to learn more about my neighbours. I haven't seen him in months. I'm afraid to know his status. https://bit.ly/3NIyMx4
Sadly Liam died on our streets. My heart is broken for a young man and his family. He changed my life.

Meet Your Host
Hi, I’m your host for this unforgettable Spanish adventure — and a Certified Trip Leader who’s passionate about creating meaningful, small-group travel experiences for women.
My goal isn’t to sell trips — it’s to travel with amazing people. I keep costs affordable (flights separate) and make sure everyone feels special, supported, and truly part of something memorable.
You’ll have the option of a private or shared room, and flexible payment choices. Curious? Let's chat!

Everyone arrives and settles into our beautiful home base in the heart of the city. As the sun dips lower, we’ll gather to enjoy a glass of wine breathing in the fresh sea air.
We take time to connect before our adventure together begins. Later, we can enjoy a delicious homestyle meal—or if jet lag has you down, relax in your lovely room for early rest. For those feeling lively, Málaga’s Saturday night scene is the perfect introduction to the rhythm of Spanish Oktoberfest!

We start slow—with a delicious coffee at one of my favourite local cafés and a guided walk to get your bearings. Málaga is filled with hidden gems and breathtaking history.
Since it’s Sunday, museum entrances are free—so you can pop into the Picasso Museum or explore the enchanting Museo Carmen Thyssen. In the evening, we hike up to Gibralfaro Castle to catch a breathtaking sunset. Back at home, we decide which delicious tapas restaurant we want to experience!

Spend the morning exploring Málaga’s pristine streets—maybe shopping in local boutiques, wandering the Soho art district, or strolling the beach promenade. In the afternoon, we’ll head out on a mini hike (little known to tourists) and picnic with homemade sandwiches made of local ingredients, and one of the most stunning sunset views. Worth the whole trip!
Evening is casual—either a cozy snack at home (after a visit to the market earlier in the day), or a meal out savouring local specialties.

It’s market day in the nearby town of Fuengirola. We’ll browse stalls, sample foods, and shop for unique keepsakes. It’s feria time which includes flamenco street performances and horse parades.
After lunch, we return to Malaga for downtime before heading out to one of my favorite local eateries—rustic, delicious, and full of charm. We raise a glass to laughter, new friendships and awesome food!

The Hammam spa is a dreamy, must-experience destination. It’s pure indulgence, with tranquil cold baths, steam rooms and massages. It is truly magical.
The evening takes us just outside of Malaga to the town of Pedregalejo, where the freshest fish dinner awaits—served beachside as the sun melts into the sea. We are living life to its fullest. Breathtaking!

We gather for morning beach yoga or I’ll show you my favourite jogging route. If you’d rather sip coffee and stroll, that’s perfectly fine. You’re in Spain—go with what nourishes you.
The October festivals will be in full swing this week, offering special events we can opt into throughout the day. At night, the energy rises as we head out to a passionate, soul-stirring flamenco show—an iconic experience full of culture and emotion. More delicious eats await for a late evening gnosh. Mmmm.

We journey to the hilltop village of Mijas in the morning—cobbled streets, charming shops, and postcard-worthy views await.
Back in Málaga for the afternoon, we rest, regroup, and later gather to sip the region’s famous sweet wine at a tucked-away local bar. We toast to our first incredible week, —warm conversation, delicious food, and the beginning of new friendships.

Saturday continues with whatever pleases us most - relax, read, shop, stroll, or take in the sunshine along the Malagueta beach. We’ll decide when the time comes.
Saturday night continues with a spectacular rooftop drink with a cathedral view that will blow your mind. Tonight it's spontaneous fun and unexpected adventures in the streets of Malaga! My favourite kind of fun! We’re in our vibe now and making the most of Malaga!

Perfect day to venture out to nearby beach towns like Torremolinos or Benalmádena via a short, scenic train ride. It's a chance to live like a local, explore the coastline, and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch.
In the evening, we come together for a beautifully prepared feast. We’re taking in Spanish cooking tips and tricks!
We take a local bus to Nerja, where the October festival will be in full swing. This seaside town charms with whitewashed buildings and coastal beauty. We’ll explore, enjoy coffee, and share a tasty lunch. Feeling adventurous? Hop on another short ride (just €1.15) to nearby Frigiliana for stunning hilltop views.
We’ll let the night unfold naturally—whether we head into town or stay in, soaking up the stories and connections that have grown along the way.

It’s time to say “hasta luego” to Málaga, with hearts full and spirits lifted.
Departures are coordinated based on your schedule, but one thing’s for sure: this city, this group, and this adventure will stay with you long after your return.
